How do I install plugins?

Click on the Admin tab, then click on the Plugins tab.
Find the install file for the plugin you wish to install.
We suggest using the excellent Textpattern Resources website.

Copy and paste the contents of the install file into the field labeled “Install plugin” at the top of the Plugins page and click the Upload button.

Before you can use the plugin within your Textpattern installation, you need to activate the plugin. To do this, click on link that says “No” and in the row named according to the plugin you just uploaded. The “No” should appear under the Active column on the plugins page.

Learning how to use a plugin is beyond the scope of this manual. The View link under the column called Help should show you any documentation that was written by the developer of the plugin. This documentation should help you get started.
You now have a plugin fully installed.
